BURGER KING has many opportunities for employment. We serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night snacks - 7 days a week. We hire team members beginning at the age of 14. Work hours range from part-time to 40 hours per week. Hours are earned based on work performance, dependability and team work. We have many different positions-all geared towards pleasing our customers. Duties range from customer service, cooking, food preparation, cleaning and maintenance. Crew members are entitled to a half price meal whenever they work. Qualified Crew Members can be promoted to Crew Trainer or Shift Supervisor positions. - Shift Supervisor
Valley King has a variety of shifts-starting at breakfast and ending at close. Ideal candidates are very dependable, work hard, lead by example and communicate well.
Shift Supervisors are promoted from within or can be hired from the outside based on ability. Those applying for the Shift Supervisor position should have a successful track record of employment. Supervisory or leadership experience is helpful, but not absolutely necessary. Valley King uses a hands on approach to your training, but it also is supplemented by online training modules. Shift Supervisors who demostrate skill and ability will be considered for our Fast Track Training Program. This program includes advanced management training and is dedicated to prepare candidates for the First Assistant Manager Position; and ultimately Restaurant Manager and District Manager Positions. - First Assistant Manager
BURGER KING First Assistant Managers are the primary source of future Restaurant Managers for our locations. First Assistant Managers must be strong, experienced leaders and have good problem solving skills.
Prerequisites for the job are open availability, an operable car and valid driver’s license, and a willingness to work in any of our locations within a market.
Starting pay levels are determined based on experience.
First Assistant Managers are eligible for yearly bonuses, health insurance, 401K savings plan and paid vacation.

- Restaurant Manager
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of restaurant operations.
The Restaurant Manager has the responsibility for customer satisfaction, hiring and training, profitability, maintaining high standards and legal compliance.
Prerequisites for the Restaurant Manager position include a strong background in leadership, the ability to work at any location in a market, open availability, and having an operable car and a valid driver’s license.
Starting salaries are determined based upon experience.
